With the constant chaos of life taking its toll, the bedroom is where many of us relax and rejuvenate. (Especially after a hard day fighting traffic or running errands all over town.)

The best way to instantly feel better about your space is to do a little spring cleaning. Do you really need those kitten heels from 1987? Probably not.
Create 3 piles: Toss, Donate and Sell. This way the junk will be gone, you can feel good about donating and you might even make a little extra money if you decide to host a yard sale.
Going through your things with a fine-tooth comb requires patience, but gives you a nice, fresh canvas to work with when you’re done. And a weight lifted off your shoulders!
Choose A Color Palette

Choosing a spring color palette is the first step towards really transitioning your bedroom from winter to spring. Get !NSPIREd! Beauty is all around you; on your back terrace where your tulips are blooming and even in your favorite floral painting.
Color is by far the easiest way to transform your space from winter to spring, so find inspiration that speaks to you and use it when incorporating spring fabrics, pieces and linens into your bedroom.
Go light & Airy
What comes to mind when you think of spring? Fresh flowers, crisp linens, bright colors? Try using spring elements to your advantage when making changes to your bedroom.
Think: New floral or pastel bedding (even just updated shams), colorful throw pillows and blankets, and natural elements like plants, decorative stone or sculptural wood pieces. Sometimes even a lovely new rug can really liven up a space.
