Have you ever noticed how many people agonize over choosing the perfect dining table, but don’t even think about the chairs? Certainly matching sets make it easy, but when we ignore our dining chairs, we’re ignoring a cost-effective chance to bring our décor to the next level.
With that in mind, let’s look at six bestselling chairs from Worldwide Homefurnishings Inc. by way of inspiring you to consider the stylish possibilities!
The Avania

Quite possibly our best seller ever, the Avania was a hit the moment we launched this versatile style in early 2016.
It’s no wonder. The Avania comes in luxurious grey velvet and is elegant without being overly dramatic, making it a perfect option for an upscale yet comfortable American dining room.
This style of chair would fit in French formal décor, colonial, French country, Americana, and most modern décor styles provided they aren’t too minimalist.
In term of child friendly, our advice is to get it stain treated if you have young ones.
The Valder

This contemporary leather chair has retro feel that is both sophisticated and daring. This chair was designed as an accent chair, but it’s versatile, and we think it works just as well around a triangle or round glass table in a modern dwelling.
The Valder chair is almost utilitarian in design, utterly unpretentious yet sleek enough to look fabulous in a downtown condo with large windows and polished concrete floors.
The Valder works perfectly with minimalist décor and is easy to clean which makes it child friendly.
The Fargo

From a country kitchen for a casual dining room, the Fargo chair recalls memories of family dinners, autumn harvests and cozy conversations as the snow falls outside.
This chair is really the champion of the family dinner table. Sturdy enough for young children but stylish in its own right. This unassuming chair will fit most décor styles although it is beautiful enough to inspire the décor around it.
Think: French country, Napa Valley, even the French Quarter of New Orleans. A collection of Fargo chairs is truly a long-term investment that you will likely pass down to your eldest.
The Cavalli

Oh the glamour of the Cavalli accent and side chairs!
Like its name suggests, this chair represents serious luxury and style. Many designers opt to use the accent chair version of the Cavalli at the head of a formal dining table and the coordinating Cavalli side chairs for regular dining. The acrylic legs and jeweled tufting a just a few of the details that set this collection apart.
For a smaller space, four Cavallis accent chairs around a round table make a decadent statement, and are perfect for spoiling your favorite dinner companions.
Remember that luxury is about comfort first, and nothing is more comfortable than relaxing into a Cavalli after dessert, and sipping a glass of cognac while you chat with your best friends as the candles burn low. Perfection.
It’d be easy to say this chair is not child-friendly, until you host a late night get-together and watch the little ones curl up and fall asleep against the soft fabric of the accent chair version.
The Holt

Similar to the Valder, the Holt was initially designed as an accent chair but we think that when it comes to this curvy upstart, more is more, and it works perfectly as a modern dining chair with a retro feel.
The Holt comes in grey and charcoal grey and the challenge with choosing this chair is to find a table with equal weight to balance it.
Because these chairs really do steal the show, we recommend that a smaller setup with no more than four chairs would work best (for larger dining tables it’s best to opt for more traditional armless chairs like the Fargo, pictured above.)
The Jazz

Finally, we love the simplicity of the Jazz chair.
It’s contrasting dark wood legs adds gravitas to the beige fabric and lends a colonial feel. Pair with a dark wood table for seriously elegant East India Trading Company feel. Add some exotic animal prints and botanical paintings and the look is complete.
The Jazz works equally well when paired with new world accents. Think: Napa Valley. The beige fabric creates an airy but elegant feel that would work well in a lighter room with gauzy drapes and a modern chandelier.
The Jazz also comes in charcoal grey that works well in most contemporary homes.
If you have kids, a chair like this is why they invented scotch guard. Make sure to use it!
