Fall Front Porch Tip #1: Paint Your Wicker Furntiture
Wicker furniture is perennially popular when it comes to trendy front porches. Its natural texture seems to flawlessly fit into almost every design scheme and flow through every season with ease.
Now that fall is here, an easy way to embrace the season is to spray paint your wicker pieces. (Before you cry foul, remember that true wicker needs to be refreshed every few seasons anyways!)

Paint your front door to match your porch furniture for an even bolder effect. Just be sure that your paint color doesn’t clash with your house’s exterior.

Corn husks, faux-fruit and berries, leaves and gorgeous greenery are just a few aspects to consider, but our favorite fall element is spider mums.
Simply purchase a foam wreath setting and a bouquet of fresh mums from the market and press them into the foam until you have a gorgeous ring of fall flowers. Finish the look by hanging your fall wreath with a plaid scarf.
Continue your warm welcome into fall by swapping your welcome mat for something in fall colors and drape a woolen throw over your favorite porch chair; great for cozying up in the cool evening breeze.
Fall Front Porch Tip #3: White Pumpkins
Use your existing porch furniture to your advantage. Stools, decorative chairs, cabinets, trunks and even the steps leading up to your front door create great landing zones for your fall décor.
Corn stalks, gourds and baskets of apples are just a few things to put on display, but it doesn’t have to stop there.
Pumpkins are an obvious choice and some might think they’re too typical, so we suggest displaying white pumpkins instead.
White pumpkins are an elegant, modern twist on the traditional pumpkin and come in all shapes and sizes. The more odd, the better. In fact, we say embrace the dents and gnarly stems for a unique look that makes your house stand out!
