We’ve got a few small tricks to help you get into the swing of things without breaking a sweat.\u00a0With hot dogs on the grill, the kids swimming up a storm and guests mingling with cocktails, everyone will wonder how you pulled it off so seamlessly.<\/p>\n

Remember when you were a kid and getting mail was fun? Now that we\u2019re older and it\u2019s all bills and junk mail, people will welcome the nostalgic feeling of a physical invitation.<\/p>\n

A beautiful invitation sets the tone of the party and creates more of a buzz than say, sending out a Facebook event invite (boring.)<\/p>\n

Now is your chance to be authentic and creative.<\/p>\n

Sure, sending out physical invitations requires a little more work on your part (tracking down addresses, buying stamps and a trip to the mailbox) but one thing for sure is you\u2019ll stand out from the crowd.<\/p>\n

Does your event need a theme?<\/p>\n

Not necessarily, however the Hawaiian Tiki theme is a popular choice for summer parties, making use of palm tree decor, flowers, coconuts, grass skirts and luaus.<\/p>\n

If the Hawaiian theme is a little too \u201cout there\u201d for you, keep it simple and sophisticated (but still fun!) with lots of bright colors.<\/p>\n

Use pretty plastic vases in bright beautiful colours or simple mason jars to add a bit of casual elegance to the affair.<\/p>\n

An !nspire tip: Buy your flowers at the local farmers market. You do need to be open minded about the kind of flowers you want (you\u2019ll be limited to what they have in the stall), but an entire bucket of seasonal blooms will cost you less than a flower store bouquet, plus you get to support local growers!<\/p>\n

Now that your planning is done, you can look forward to the arrival of your guests and focus on having a fabulous time!<\/p>\n
