Goods should be ordered and will be shipped by case lots only. The minimum order is $200.00 for warehouse pick ups and $500.00 for shipping. To ensure safe shipping, dealers may be asked to increase an order.
All orders are generally shipped within 2-3 business days. Orders that require shipping are shipped collect with a carrier of the dealer’s choice. Prepaid + Charge freight service is also available, please contact the Service department for more information. Worldwide offers freight incentives to many territories across Canada. Please contact the sales rep in your territory for further information.
All freight claims for defective merchandise must be made direct to the carrier. It is the dealer’s responsibility to thoroughly inspect all shipments upon arrival. Any claim for loss or damages must be noted directly on the carrier's Bill of Lading. Failure to do so will exempt Worldwide from assuming any responsibility.
WARRANTY AND RETURNS
All products are covered for 90 days from the original date of purchase.
This warranty is limited to genuine manufacturer defects only. It will not be honored in the case of floor models, general wear and tear, upholstered fabrics, unauthorized repair, or any negligence towards the care of the product. Any claim for damages must be reported to our Service department with supporting photos. Worldwide reserves the right for items to be returned to our warehouse for inspection, or be inspected by your area service representative. If the claim is justified, part replacement, product repair, or exchange will be made as deemed necessary. Part replacements will be shipped out with the next order. A reasonable amount of touchup and part replacement is expected of the dealer. When necessary, the dealer is expected to sell slightly damaged products "as is". Worldwide will not accept any returns without prior authorization from our Service department. Any merchandise that is returned without authorization through no fault of Worldwide will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
COMMERCIAL/HOSPITALITY USE WARRANTY
Certain items are identified as being suitable for light commercial/hospitality purposes (i.e., offices, reception areas, model homes). Although standard warranties are voided for any product used under non-residential conditions, items identified with the C/H icon will be applicable for our extended warranty program. Please contact your area sales representative for further information.
All credit must be approved by our credit department. Without approved credit, dealers will be put on COD terms. Forms of payment accepted are Cash, Cheque, Visa, Master Card and Interac. Early payment discounts will not apply to credit card payments. Any credit card payment after 10 days of invoice date will be affected by a 2.5% surcharge. All NSF cheques will be subject to a $25.00 fee. Upon a 2nd NSF cheque situation, the account will be placed on COD terms indefinitely.
STOCK LEVELS AND BACKORDERS
Worldwide takes great effort to ensure that product inventory meets customer demand levels. However, due to numerous uncontrollable factors, when stock-out situations do occur, Worldwide has ensured that a wide variety of acceptable substitute products are readily available. Backorders are always kept in the system unless otherwise instructed. Backorders are normally shipped out with the next order, or with instruction of the dealer.
